Grants

Dr. Kowalski was awarded a $500,000 grant from the National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Disease to fund her statistical methods development on mutation profile analysis of HIV genetic heterogeneity. She was also awarded a $65,000 grant from the Maryland Cigarette Restitution fund to further her development of inferential bioinformatics approaches for genetic and genomic phenotype characterization.
